GymPilot is an AI fitness library for people who find their workouts on social media and never get around to doing them. Here is what is in the app today, feature by feature, with nothing promised that has not shipped.
Import from a link
Paste or share a public TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook post. Our Cloudflare Worker fetches the post's public title, caption, transcript and up to 8 images, sends them to Google Gemini, and returns a structured workout: exercises in order, sets, reps, rest, equipment, duration and type. Many workout posts are image carousels with the exercises written on the slides, so the images matter as much as the caption.
Every import lands in a review editor before it is saved. You can rename exercises, fix sets and reps, reorder, and add what the post left out. When a post exposes very little, you still get the title and thumbnail and finish the rest by hand.
What it does not do: download videos, read private posts, or work around any platform's restrictions. It reads what the post page makes public, nothing more. The AI runs on our server, never on the phone.
A library you can search
Every saved workout is searchable. Group them into collections (Push, Legs, Home, whatever fits), star favorites, and filter by workout type, difficulty or equipment. A manual editor builds workouts from scratch for the ones that never came from a video.
Free includes 1 collection and 5 imports a month. GymPilot Pro makes both unlimited.
AI program builder
Tell it your goal (muscle, strength, fat loss or general fitness), how many days a week you train, how long a session should be, how many weeks, and what equipment you have. The builder arranges your own saved workouts into a multi-week program: push pull legs, upper lower, full body, or a conditioning-flavored split for fat loss, with a focus and a note for each week. It needs a few saved workouts to work from, and it labels any day where it had to use a loose match. Part of GymPilot Pro.
Calendar and streaks
Your program lands on a calendar with a week strip, today's session and the sessions ahead. Move a workout when life happens. Every finished session is logged with its date, and the streak counter, history and achievements make the habit visible.
Workout player
Start a workout and the player walks you through it: the current exercise, sets, reps, rest and weight stay on screen, and every set is ticked off as you finish it. For imported workouts, an exercise can deep-link to the moment in the source video it came from. Form cues, generated by Gemini, appear on the exercise sheet with a note that they are not a substitute for a coach.
Exercise library
The app ships 873 exercises with step-by-step instructions, level, mechanic, equipment and primary and secondary muscles: 310 bodyweight, 179 barbell, 123 dumbbell, 81 cable, 67 machine, 53 kettlebell and 20 band exercises, plus medicine ball, exercise ball and foam roller entries. Browse the same library on this site at /exercises/, by muscle or equipment.
Insights
Small nudges from your own data: you have not trained legs recently, your streak ends tonight, you have enough saved for a program. Rules over local data, no cloud.
Privacy, in one paragraph
Local-first and anonymous-first. No account, no sign-in, no cloud sync in the current version. No camera or photo-library access. Only the link you paste leaves the device, to our server and on to Google Gemini, and nothing is kept afterwards. Purchases go through RevenueCat and Apple. The privacy policy has the detail.
Platforms
iPhone only, dark mode only. There is no Android version and no web app.
Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or Facebook.
